Pre-feasibility studies (Definitional Missions) for  to develop e-government infrastructure in São Paulo  Ceará, Minas Gerais, and Acre states and a Multisectoral Technology Park for the Federal District all in Brazil

In June-October Peter Knight, working with Judith Hellerstein (Hellerstein & Associates carried definitional missions to evaluate and prepare terms of reference for detailed feasibility studies for three public-private partnership (PPP) projects to develop e-government infrastructure, two in São Paulo State and one in Ceará State, Brazil. These studies were funded by the United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA). Two of the projects involve data centers (one each in São Paulo and Ceará), and one an intragovernmental voice, data and video network (Rede Intragov) in São Paulo. The reports have been completed and submitted to USTDA.

In 2008, again working with Hellerstein and Associates, Peter Knight carried out definitional missions for USTDA for a data center for the new Administrative Center of the State of Minas Gerais, a Statewide Broadband Network (Digital Forest Project) in the State of Acre, and a Multisectoral Technology Park for the Federal District (Brasília).
